If you're on this page, it probably means you'd like to join us here at The St. John Ambulance Brigade. It's not to hard to do, all you need to be is 11-17(18 or over?) and you don't even need any medical experience.

Through St. John Ambulance you have the opportunity to become involved in all sorts of schemes and courses. Your Cadet life can offer an exciting range of training and activities in which you can take part. These activities will encourage you to develop skills and take on new challenges. Our Work
- Weekly meetings and practice/ training sessions
- First Aid duty at major public and sporting events - Care in the Community work - Competitions (if you are interested) - Further training in emergency care and treatment St. John Ambulance is a totally voluntary organisation, as such it is a organisation that works around you, the First Aider. There is no obligation to commit yourself to any of our activities/events, as such if you are free to attend then that is perfect, if not then that is fine also. If you have the time, then that's fine! What qualifications do you need?
Our Youth Division welcomes anyone under the age of 18 years from any background.
As a member of St. John Ambulance we will train you to a qualified standard of First Aid and give you the skills to save a persons life. For our youths this will be done in a fun and enjoying manner in order to ensure that our Cadet members are happy and having fun while learing the skills neccessary to save a persons life. ![]() Some of the things you can do
